This policy describes how Nivo78 Mobile Apps, LLC (“Nivo78,” “we”) handles information in N78-Dash (“the app”). Nivo78 utilities share this family policy. Product-specific permissions and data types are listed in What this app uses on the device below. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The job: Show live vehicle speed and trip numbers on this phone while you drive.
1. Family summary (every Nivo78 app)
- Working data stays on the device unless you start a handoff (email, share sheet, store billing, or a feature this app’s appendix names).
- No Nivo78 account is required for everyday work.
- No in-app ads, no behavioral ad profiles, no selling of your data.
- No silent analytics and no background upload of your workspace to Nivo78.
- The only time Nivo78 receives a message is when you send support, feedback, or contact email. You review the draft before Send.
- Bug reports with diagnostics are prepared in the app (Help → Feedback). The website does not collect equivalent diagnostics.
2. Who we are
Nivo78 Mobile Apps, LLC, Tyler, Texas. Privacy contact: support@nivo78.com. Public philosophy: nivo78.com/about.
3. Legal acknowledgement on the device
On first run the app shows Terms and this Privacy Policy. Acceptance is stored on the device (terms version, time, app version). We do not receive that record. A later Terms version asks again. After uninstall, files in the app sandbox are removed by the OS; copies you exported stay where you saved them.
4. What this app uses on the device
This install of N78-Dash is a local-first utility. Unless you add permissions later, it does not use background location, SMS send, or a Nivo78 cloud login. Files you create stay in app-private storage or folders you pick (system save dialog / Files).
If a future version needs a dangerous permission or optional hosted upload, this appendix will name it in plain language. Store listings (Play Data safety, Microsoft Store, App Store) must match this appendix.
5. Email you send us
If you email support or use in-app Feedback, we receive what you put in the message (and, for in-app bug reports, the diagnostic block you were shown). Do not include passwords, recovery keys, or files you do not want to send. We use that mail only to respond.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. Do not use it to store a child’s personal information.
7. Changes
We will update the Last updated date when this family policy or the product appendix changes. Material changes also bump in-app Terms when required.
